dranderson402 30
I had a new show set to record and noticed it didn't record. When looking to figure out why I noticed it did record but it was put in the wrong folder. It was put in another series' folder. The new show is 9-1-1: Lone Star and it started recording last night a minute before 21:00. The folder it went to was for the series Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. I've included the log for help in why this happened. embyserver-63715075202.zip Edited January 20, 2020 by dranderson402

dranderson402 30
Last nights episode of 9-1-1 Lone Star put the episode in a new folder without the year. I know that happens at times, but at least it wasn't put in a different show's folder.
muzicman0 59
This has happened 3 times over the last few weeks. I have TV shows record to the wrong folder, for instance, just yesterday, the Goldbergs TS file ended up in the 'God Friended me' folder. Any ideas what is going on, or how to fix? muzicman0 59
I'm having this happen as well, but it seems to happen with the Goldbergs. So far it has been put in the 'Carol's Second Act' Folder, 'God Friended me' folder, and one other that I can't remember (maybe Young Sheldon). Luke 37022
what external id's does the series have in the emby metadata editor?
muzicman0 59
what external id's does the series have in the emby metadata editor? It's interesting, when I went into the meta data manager for the Goldbergs, it shows the path as being the God Friended Me folder. But, here are the ID's listed under the Goldbergs (2013) folder: External Ids: IMDb Id: tt2712740 TheMovieDb Id: 49009 TheTVDB Id: 269653 Zap2It Id: EP01739617 The path shows as follows: Path: D:\OneDrive\Recorded TV\God Friended Me (2018) Title: The Goldbergs (2013) Original title: The Goldbergs There is also a listing for The Goldbergs (without the year), and this entry looks correct, however the folder doesn't actually exist. Some of the ID's are the same, but Zp2it is different. Edited January 31, 2020 by muzicman0
Luke 37022
Hmm, that's a strange one. I would suggest temporarily moving both series folders out of your library, then running a full scan of all libraries to clean out the database, and then adding them back. Please see if that helps with the next recording of one of those series. Thanks.
muzicman0 59
OK. I removed the folders completely (there were no recorded episodes in them right now, so I just deleted completely), and ran a scan. It didn't take very long (maybe 1 - 2 seconds), but I don't have a ton of episodes current on this server (it ONLY records TV). I noticed that all the entries were still in the Meta Data manager, so I deleted them out of that as well. I actually use a different application to watch the recorded TV, so I don't think I have lost any truly valuable info. We'll see what happens when these series record again.
