vra1974 2
I share my media with my family. Suddently a couple of days ago I started having trouble playing back movies. Everything is ok, until pressing play because it just hangs on Retrieving (on roku) or the loading wheel everywhere else.I reinstalled the server and this got fixed for everyone but 1 user. I deleted the user and created it again, but it still does the same.Attached you will find the logs. The username with this issue is "Mariela". She has tried playing back using the emby IOS app on Ipad, Chrome in a Samsung Pad, and Emby App on Iphone. Thanks a lot in advance. vra1974 2
Well... no one has replied... anyway, this problem seems to be getting worse.I have problems now with all my users and even myself when playing any media. I have to try, and try and wait and wait A LOT to get something played.I have been using emby for a few months and now it is getting frustrating. Everything worked perfect a month ago Anyway, I attached the server log. You can see my username "Victor" trying to play the same movie a few times before geting through. ebr 14910
Hi. It looks like there may be some network issues of some sort going on: 2020-01-21 20:00:12.353 Info HttpServer: SocketException: http://[redacted]:8096/emby/videos/14906/stream.mp4?DeviceId=2f0a7fa634508208&MediaSourceId=f725f2125a6040c69cefb0c0b275e2bd&Static=true&PlaySessionId=fe752743451f46b2a189227c7d7f26ab I also noticed the same error earlier in your log when trying to contact The Movie DB. Is there any sort of security software in play here that could be mucking things up?
vra1974 2
Nope. When things started to get crazy, I disabled every kind of firewall from the PC and checked that it was on DMZ in my ISP router. Strange. Hi.
