jhoff80 87 Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) So when you run Media Browser Server as a service, we all know you can't actually restart or shut it down from the web interface, because a service can't restart itself. It's not THAT big a deal but I was messing with SABnzbd, and noticed that their solution for the same exact situation is to install a secondary 'helper' service, so that the helper service will then be used to shut down and restart the main service whenever necessary. Like I said, it's not a huge deal, but if something similar to that is at all possible for MBS, that'd simplify things a bit. But the core team is focused on cross-platform projects right now, and that's a windows-only enhancement.
