Remove Recordings from Top Library

I've been meaning to ask about this for a while. I'm not at home or have an AndroidTV available but the Android Mobile app is the same.

I have MCEBuddy immediately process and move all recordings into my main library structure so I don't need these folders on the home screen at all.

Any way to hide them?

Can a recording in progress screen be added to AndroidTV app like in the mobile Android app?

Best thing to do is just sort them last.

I guess it's a core thing and not really an option? Do I need these libraries in the server? They seem to be created by Emby so I am reluctant to delete them.

Just add the recording folders to their respective non-recorded libraries and the icons will go away.  Though I'm not sure how that would make emby behave since you post-process out of those folders.  Might be worth a try anyhow.

I would disallow access to those two folders under your user settings. I don't think the recordings are made under a specific user account.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you show it via paths?

That did it but I think it will hide active recordings now. @@Luke ?

It never dawned on me to do this as this is my non-admin user and I had everything enabled for me and my wife except the server.

I think that all recordings are global but only the accounts with LiveTV access can schedule them, in this case just me. Nobody else has LiveTV from my server to conserve resources but I may loosen up on that with my new Ryzen 3700x.

so you have your regular non-recorded tv folder, and your recorded tv folder.  Just add the recorded tv folder to your regular tv library.  Thats how I have it set up and I don't see the recorded tv stub.  I don't do any post processing so ymmv on how emby reacts to that, since you do.

I get it now. This would have MCEBuddy moving them up a couple levels. I'm not sure how that would work with the Emby db.

Additionally, I record to a 1Tb m.2 drive then process to a 4Tb spinner drive with a *bat script on a schedule to clear out the MCEBuddy Archive folder 14 days after the recording is made. I want to keep this structure.

This worked for me. Thanks for the tip, I found it very annoying that the Recordings folder was always showing up.
