Hörspiele und Hörbücher, ein Graus!?

Hallo zusammen,

Vielen lieben Dank schonmal.

daedalus

Was bedeutet zukunftt?

Ordnerstruktur :

Interpret / Albumtitel / Disc1

                                /Disc2

                               /Disc3

I have a similar problem with using the audio books.

Library audio books created.

Folder structure:

Artist / Album Title / Disc1

                                / Disc2

                               / Disc3

At Emby, no matter what I put in the ID3 Tag Discnumber, it gets mixed up.

Then when I open the album appears in Emby

Album name / all tracks among each other without dividing the disks. In other words, I have 3 x title 1, 3 x title 2, 3 x title 3 and so on. Playing audiobooks is no fun.

There are also audiobooks with more than one disc, but how should you structure them properly in the folder tree? Would be grateful for any help.

Hi there, can you please go over an exact example? Thanks.

A general better solution for displaying and using audiobooks would be very apreciated.

Scrolling through 10k books without categories is a pain, the search displays each and every track containing the search string, random books are displayed random times (a folder is displayed three of ten times, identically) ... it seems to me there is a lot of work to do, but I'd like to see that. And it was getting a slot better from time to time.

The audiobook player itself is rather good 🙂

A solution for me ist now :

Open the Library Audiobooks and change to Folderstructure. No its correctly sorted. But i don't know why that works this way and in Standard is Chaos :)

And something is realy confuse with audiofiles.

if u never tag the MP3 Files like me, because i'm sorting my MP3s through the Folderstructure, you get realy f***ed :) All is totaly unsorted.
Structure here is : Interpret \ Album \ Discnumber \ 01 - your title here .mp3
But it works like : Interpret \ Album \01 - your title here .mp3

                                                                 01 - Your second Title from disc 2 or 3 or whatever.mp3

So for me its now MP3 Tag Time, because i wanna hear my Music sorted and not unsorted :D
But thats Mimimi on a high level *lol*

But realy all in all, emby makes it !! imho better than some other Platforms. and i have tested some of them.
