django58 0 Posted January 12, 2020 Author Share Posted January 12, 2020 Most of my movies or TV shows are 5.1 audio but Chromecast seems to not support it... And I have different audio codec... aac, ac3, mp3... Only 2.0 stereo works. I think that Emby (or Plex) don't have the capability to convert 5.1 surround to 2.0 stereo yet.. Guest asrequested Posted January 14, 2020 Share Posted January 14, 2020 In your user settings in the server, try disabling 'allow audio playback that requires transcoding', and test playing your media, again. django58 0 Posted January 21, 2020 Author Share Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) I think I find a solution, actually emby (ffmep) transcode the movie from aac to ac3 (and don't transcode ac3 to aac)...
