Joly0 2 Posted January 11, 2020 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Hi, i am running Xpenology on my Pentium j5005, which is strong enough to handle anything with emby. I have an Emby Premiere Account and still, my Nas has an insane high Cpu load, ~99%, when i watch a movie, even though its direct play, not even transcoding anything. Ressource Manager confirms, that Emby and its sub-thread ffmpeg, uses all of my Cpu resources, when watching. In my own opinion, that didnt started too long ago, although others say, it sometimes already early loaded longer then it should. So, is it possible, that direct play is using so much Cpu power, or is there something maybe wrong and if so, what logs to you need to help me? Ffmpeg, emby logs? Ich konvertiere gerade alle Videos um mit Handbrake, dann läuft direct play zuverlässig! CPU liegt dann bei 3% und HDD ca 10% Settings for Handbrake attached...
