arrbee99 1675 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Just wondering if anyone might be getting this - Actually went to the On Now page and its got about 200 TVNZ1 things in the middle of the more normal channels. Just thought I'd mention it. Don't know if its new, practically never go to that particular page. NextPVR v5, Windows 10, latest server beta, Chrome.
emveepee 118 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I tried in 4.3 and 4.4 and didn't see any duplicates. Martin
arrbee99 1675 Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 Turns out its a mapping thing. Got a bunch of iptv channels for which there's no guide, so its decided to map TVNZ to all (I think) 197 of them. I think it used to say no guide data but thats obviously changed. But anyway its something it does in NextPVR itself not Emby so apologies, wrong forum I guess
emveepee 118 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Yes NextPVR should show None, and Emby should create some dummy entries, but it looks like you might have accidently auto mapped them to the first item in the list (going by 1 as the channel number) Martin
arrbee99 1675 Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 Don't know what I dd. There was something to do with having channel numbers in a xml list for some but not all channels, so the ones without channels numbers start again at one Some stuff here if you're interested or bored https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=151&topicid=198716&page_no=39 Course it also might be completely unconnected... I also need to update to the latest NPVR v5 beta.
emveepee 118 Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 I imported that kiwitv2 file and don't see this issue, so I agree it was probably related to the beta version of NextPVR you used. Martin 1
arrbee99 1675 Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 I should no doubt get round to updating to the latest version and probably remove and re-add the kiwitv2 list, just can't make myself do it yet
