computeracer 0 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Hello, I just bought premier to test out the livetv option of emby. I see it import all the channels, but when I got to watch a channel I see just the spinning circle. When investigating the logs I see: 2020-01-05 14:28:43.019 Info SharedHttpPipelineSource: Opening SharedHttpPipelineSource Live stream from http://192.168.8.15:5004/auto/v6.1?transcode=heavy 2020-01-05 14:28:43.019 Info HttpClient: GET http://192.168.8.15:5004/auto/v6.1?transcode=heavy 2020-01-05 14:29:13.023 Error HttpClient: Connection to http://192.168.8.15:5004/auto/v6.1?transcode=heavy timed out 2020-01-05 14:29:13.028 Error HdHomerunHost: Error opening tuner *** Error Report *** Version: 4.3.1.0 Command line: /system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /config -ffdetect /bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 Operating system: Unix 4.15.0.72 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 8 Program data path: /config Application directory: /system MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Connection to http://192.168.8.15:5004/auto/v6.1?transcode=heavy timed out ---> System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException: The operation was canceled. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: Operation canceled. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Operation canceled --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.AwaitableSocketAsyncEventArgs.ThrowException(SocketError error) at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.AwaitableSocketAsyncEventArgs.GetResult(Int16 token) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnection.FillAsync() at System.Net.Http.HttpConnection.ReadNextResponseHeaderLineAsync(Boolean foldedHeadersAllowed) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnection.SendAsyncCore(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.Http.HttpConnection.SendAsyncCore(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.SendWithNtConnectionAuthAsync(HttpConnection connection, HttpRequestMessage request, Boolean doRequestAuth, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.SendWithRetryAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, Boolean doRequestAuth, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.RedirectHandler.SendAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpClient.FinishSendAsyncUnbuffered(Task`1 sendTask, HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationTokenSource cts, Boolean disposeCts) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsyncInternal(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsyncInternal(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsync(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Emby.LiveTV.TunerHosts.SharedHttpPipelineSource.OpenStream(IDisposable connectionContext, MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, String url, MediaProtocol protocol, CancellationToken cancellationToken, Int32 recursion) at Emby.LiveTV.TunerHosts.SharedHttpPipelineSource.Open(CancellationToken openCancellationToken) at Emby.LiveTV.TunerHosts.BaseTunerHost.GetChannelStream(String channelId, String streamId, List`1 currentLiveStreams, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: Emby.Server.Implementations TargetSite: Void MoveNext() InnerException: System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException: The operation was canceled. Any ideas on the issue? Thank you, Dan
Luke 39685 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Hi, it looks like your tuner timed out. Can you try rebooting the HD Homerun?
computeracer 0 Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 My hdhomerun is remote. I am looking for a way to remotely reboot, but havent found one. Odd it seems to work find with vlc when i connect to the link referenced in the log. It doesnt time out there. I have found it stutters a bit. I found if I open http://192.168.8.15:5004/auto/v6.1?transcode=internet540 it works nice and smooth.
Luke 39685 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Emby is requesting the heavy transcode url from your HDHR tuner. You could try turning off tuner hardware transcoding in Emby Server settings where you originally setup the HDHR tuner.
Luke 39685 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Ok if you can find a way to reboot the tuner, that would be what I would suggest.
