Live Tv Picture Pixelated/Remote viewing not working (Solved)

When on wifi with a Pixel 4 XL I receive a pixelated picture. (Attached screen shot)

Both HD an SD channels are pixelated on this particular device.

This is not the case on older android devices on the same network.

I did reboot the HDHomerun just to rule that out.

I have an HDHomerun Extend model HDTC-2US Firmware: 20190621

I have tried setting transcode configuration to None an Mobile with no difference

The other problem is that remote viewing/streaming of live tv outside my network is taking around 5-6 minutes on

average to start playing on the android device.

When it does start it plays steady without any buffering, so it's not the cellular internet speed/connection.

Also no pixelation on HD or SD when streamed remotely like the wifi connection.

Allow hardware transcoding is enabled could this be the culprit?

The server is a Win 10 Intel 2500K 16 gb ram that might hit 20% cpu usage when streaming HD live tv so I don't believe the server

to be the bottleneck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yes I am just tried disabling the Allow hardware transcoding option on the server an that seems to have fixed

the problem.

I don't think the HDhomerun Extend is strong enough to transcode at least well anyway.
