I decided to reinstall the games plugin, which seems fairly straight forward. Install, restart server, create new library and in the plugin setup the game systems and scan the library...

Now I see the library and the game systems in the library on the web-client, but no games. If I go to folder view though, I see the folders where the games are located, but the folders are empty. I can assign cover images to these folders though. It seems that the server does not recognize the .iso files in their respective game folders.

Folder structure is:

G:\Games\Xbox360\<game name1>\isoname.iso

G:\Games\Xbox360\<game name2>\isoname.iso

G:\Games\PS2\<game name1>\isoname.iso

G:\Games\PS2\<game name2>\isoname.iso

etc.

In the library the path is set to G:\Games and in the plugin the game system point to their respective folder within the Games folder. Not sure what I'm doing wrong...

Oh, I'm on beta server 4.4.0.4

An update on this: Some game systems do display the games. The systems that do display: Atari 2600, NES, Nintendo Wii, PSP, SNES. Systems that do not work: MSDOS, PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox360.

It seems that folders with disc-images are not recognized, like .iso or .bin, aren't recognized

Some game systems support that but some do not.

XBox360 should support this though, shouldn´t it?

Could you list which systems support what?

This is a community maintained plugin so i don't have all the answers. But from the source code you can see what file extensions are supported for each:

Thanks!

If it's community maintained, who can make changes to this? It seems the extensions for .iso and .000 for XBox360 are missing and a few other common extensions for other systems too...

Since you're the last person who did some commits, is it possible for you to do some more?  ;)

No, I can help updating the plugin with compatibility updates for new server releases, but I cannot become the primary GameBrowser developer, sorry.

Understandable... Can't be everywhere at once...

Anyway, I forked and compiled it with the extensions added and it works properly now... :)
