BTW, The subtitles need the name of the tv episode to get the subtitle.

Open subtitles don't know what to do 'cause the plugin can't read the main folder name of the tv series.

If you use:

Example:

Main dir: The Office (US)

Sub dir: Season 1

Episode format inside the Season 1 sub folder: S01E01, S01E02 , and so.

Seems that the plugin can't read the main folder tv series NAME and the hash does not work.

Of course, if you un-check the hash it can find all content under S01E01... (any content with "S01E01" in the title on Open subtitles) Of course nobody want 1000's of subtitles...

Any advice?

Thanks

Is there a change in the naming convention?

I always used into the folder movie

fanart

poster

cdart

banner

etc.

Now Emby do the scratch and use the complete name of the movie

Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)-poster

I just change the 1080p for 4k. Same name in .mkv and directory

Normally Emby take the artwork already in the directory, but now is pulling new content not needed, because it was there already.

Any reason of this?

My movies are curated 100%

One folder by movie

Directory capture below.

....

Are you on 4.5.0.3 beta server and your directory/folder name matches the moviename

then read this - its a bug in .3

What is the folder name of the star wars movie?

Same as movie

Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)  <-----movie folder

Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999).mkv  <-----movie file

Path: ../share1/SCIFI/Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)/Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999).mkv

I don't change nothing with the names. In fact I change two movies (only the version) the last month, and this situation is from 2 or 3 days ago.

The original name from IMdDB and TMDB is the same for this movie: Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

Emby always was very smart using the local content already into the directories.

All my movies are curated in the same way Movie folder = Movie name --- One folder for each movie, and inside the folder, the artwork and the subtitles.

-- I bought the complete saga and I'm changing the 1080p movies for the new 4K movies, using the same name of the each older 1080p movie (copy & paste)

----

Note at side: Could be the dash?

I always use the dash and space after and before instead the colon  from the original tittle, always checked on IMDB. TMDB have some name differences in certain movies like Star Wars (1977)<-- TMDB and  Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)<-- IMDB  But that's because the original name and USA name.

Still happens with the other movies (log attached) for: /share1/SCIFI/Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)/Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005).mkv
