time out while connecting to EMBY server

Hi all

 

I'm running Emby for LG Smart TVs 1.0.20 with a Emby Server 4.3.1 at a Synology DS718+ (DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4).

 

If I start my TV with the EMBY app I got a connection time out to the EMBY server if the Synology had power off the HDDs due to power saving.

 

After the HDDs waked up again the app connect smoothly to the server.

 

Is there a value within the app where I can increase the time out to the server?

Hi, it's currently 20 seconds, which is already pretty high. After it times out couldn't you also just try again if that's what it takes?

thanks for the fast answer.

 

That is for sure not a major issue and the reconnect to the server works fine.

 

But it happen every time if the HDDs are at sleep and it is not a simple 1 click "retry". 1st choose server and than 2nd click connect.

 

It will be very cool if there is an option to change that value in the settings at the client.
