jhoff80 87 Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 At some point in the last 3-4 months, the release year on all of my movies has stopped showing up. I've tried repairing my Kodi database and also wiping it and starting over, but it just doesn't show up anymore. It'd be just a small tolerable annoyance if it was just a display issue, but it also means whenever I open a collection that all of the movies are in alphabetical rather than release order, so in many cases I don't know which goes in which order. I'm running Kodi 18.5 on an Nvidia Shield, with the latest stable Emby for Kodi release. I can pull Kodi logs if that helps, just not sure which actions you'd want to see in that (routine sync, database repair, etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Angelblue05 4130 Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 Sort by year works here. Enable Emby for Kodi debug in the advanced settings. Pick a movie, open the Emby webclient, edit the metadata for that movie (just hit save), wait a minute and grab your kodi log once it processes the update.
