The bottom bar displays the two first categories (or sections or whatever you call them) of the "My Media" row:

Why don't you reorganize them like this:

For the web app:

Home, Favorites, Search, More.

For the mobile apps:

Home, Favorites, Downloads, Search, More.

Isn't it better? what do you think?.

Thanks.

Good evening, I signed up to the beta and I don't see any recent updates, what gives?

The thing that got me on this the first time I saw this bar was I was expecting "more" to just list more libraries, instead it took me to the settings page.

Unlike Plex, Emby apps still don't support interface customization of that kind.

But you said "Downloads" tab was already in the Android beta app and I thought it was available in any recent beta so where is it?

It is, I see it in the bottom bar.

Just make sure to get 3.0.89 (latest beta). ;-)

Merry Christmaa to all. :-)

I'm on the Play Store and I still see the 3.0.87 version.

Play Store isn't the latest, afaik there is something with the approval on Google's end.

You need to look for it here in the forum.

Downloads is already there in the Android app.

Yes, but media libraries shouldn't duplicate at the bottom like in the below screenshot, a "Favorites" tab should be there instead, that's all I'm requesting:

I wish I could customize whats on that bottom bar.

I'm sure in time you will be able to.

Settings was redundant as we have the user icon in the top right.

It was way easier to use though. Now you have to move accross the whole display to being able to access the settings/dashboard.

Ok... why don't make it like?:

For the web app:

Home, Favorites, Search

For mobile apps:

Home, Favorites, Downloads, Search

Seeing one or two (of 10+) libraries down in the bar seems both redundant (moreso as likely exactly those two are present onscreen) and out-of-place while wasting screen estate, that space should be reserved for additional features and options that are not within easy reach. Above suggestion makes perfect sense, until customization is introduced eventually.

It's not necessary, just move it down a bit and you'll see the icon, anyway, the bottom bar needs to be as I suggested.

Misunderstanding here, I guess.

What I meant was, that I have to move my thumb (not scrolling!) over the whole screen to the cog in the top right corner whereas before I could easily use the bottom right corner without cramping my fingers...
