1. Subtitles are always the same size, when i change subtitle size in settings nothing happen.

2. When i press back button on home screen, it will exit the app. So users can accidentally exit the app. There should be some kind off confirmation popup.

3. On continue watching images few pixels are missing on down left corner.

4. When i bring up controls while playing a movie, audio will mute for a second.

5. When navigating left and right in movie menu, screen goes up and down hidding the title name.

6. When going down to actors in movie menu, it will not go to first actor in line.

7. In edit images menu, images are not highlighted with green color, i don't know which image is highlighted.

8. In edit metadata and identify, when i scroll down, on every section keyboard is called, it's annoying, keyboard should be called after "ok" button press on           remote. Also i can't exit "edit metadata" and "identify" anymore with "back" button press, i must force close the emby app.

9. When i quickly go down to home screen after search or options buttons or favorite screen, green highlight object will stay on favorite screen movie.

10. And please allow us to fast foward movie via progress bar, web app can do this, why not tizen app?

For #2 we've tried but Samsung has rejected the app when we had that.

Maybe we can try this again. I’ve noticed it seems to be common on a lot of apps now, so maybe they’ve changed their position on this. At least there are many examples to argue the point

Yes #2 is progress bar. I think edge of that line is round, thats why few pixels are in diferent color. That is the case also with posters, but it's not visible that much - https://imgur.com/rCtOTyB

About "confirm exit" popup, all apps i tried have this when i press back button on remote

Ok i can reproduce the corner but it's kind of a tricky fix right now unless we're willing to just not round the poster at all.

You can try to round green highlight border

Yea I am making that change, but that's the outside edge of the green highlight, whereas the problem is on the inside.

Because the border radius is on the poster inside the border, not on the border itself. That is what creates the little gap of space between the rounded area and the green highlight.

I understand that. If you try to set the same border radius on green border it should follow poster shape, or maybe set border to go behind a poster just a bit if it's possible

I have added the border radius to the green outline, and while this does make it look better, it doesn't resolve the original issue.

I also tried removing the poster border radius when it is focused, and while this does work it creates a little jarring effect where it kind of looks like the poster is jumping a little. So that's not going to fly. So those were my two quick fix options, since neither panned it out it will have to wait until I can spend more time on it.

Any progress on this?

I have installed it on my old folks TV and they cannot see the subtitles. I tried changing the size for their account via the web interface, but the size does not change.

I tried changing the size for their account via the web interface (since the TV one does not have this option), but the size does not change.

Note also the comment in the screenshot above regarding ASS/SSA, PGS subs and transcoding, ie: these settings only have an affect in limited cases. As Luke suggested, you will need to show us an example

We'd have to look at an example. Please see how to report a media playback issue. Thanks.

Not really sure what kind of example you want. Here is some info:

Emby server: 4.3.1.0

Emby on Tizen: 1.0.70

    - Container: mp4

    - video: x264

    - audio: aac

   - subtitles: External srt (my-movie-name.lang.srt)

Expected behavior:

To be able to change subtitles size on the TIzen app just as I am able to do so on the web interface

Actual behavior:

Subtitle size does not change

EDIT: Tried again with a different movie (same format) - same result. Also tried to change subtitle color - does not work

Why adding new option (change size of subittles) to the app if that option doesn't do anything yet?

You should add that option together with said feature. You are just raising confusion among users.

OK, so one think I forgot is that on Samsung TV's we use the ASS/SSA renderer to render external srt sub files.  That's why the user subtitle appearance settings aren't being applied.  I've got this 80% fixed, but we can resolve this.

This should all be resolved in 1.0.71.
