Troubleshooting Remote access to Emby Server

Good day to you all,

 

I've been running Emby for several Months now, all good; I was able to remote access my server etc....

Until several days ago. Now impossible to get connected to My emby server remotedly.

I've been searching for explanations but still nothing.

Here are the details:

 

I am living in China

Getting internet at home via a Chinese Routeur

to this chinese routeur is connected my astrill VPN routeur

On which are connected my Computer, server etc etc.

 

I used to access my media with Video station, which was working fine but slow.. I tried emby which suits me me better now.

Hi, you could try changing the public ports that emby server is using. Make sure to update this in Emby's network configuration.

 

You could also try different VPN software.

I did, already using the port provided by my VPN Provider.

if I change from Astrill to another, I also need to change my VPN routeur or is there a way to set it up with another VPN soft?
