Maybe I can get Best Buy to price match on that I can have it for $115. SMR = shingled magnetic recording CMR/PMR = conventional/perpendicular magnetic recording There's a performance penalty and internal overhead in SMR drives for non-sequential update workloads. Unless there a reason for high speed 7200rpm drive which mainly games loading there really need even a stock 5400rpm drive can easy push 16 HD steam of 8mb/sec at ocen.
