Playback-delay with the app (only) of about 30s

Hey Guys,
I set up a new EMBY-Server on a Rock64Pro, which is now finally working as intended.
There is only one issue left:

When I access emby via the Android-App, no matter if it is with the tablet or with my mobile, everything is fast and responsive.
But once I start any playback, there will be a HEAVY delay. (in the attached embyserver-text it is 30153ms)

The same happens if I try to connect to any Chromecast-device.
The delay is several (ca. 30s) seconds.

No idea why, because when I access it from the website (via browser), it starts immediately with the playback.

It also does not matter if I'm in the same network (Wifi with +300mbps) or if I'm connecting via WAN (50mbps symmetrical here and 20mbps upstream from the emby-server).
So in both cases the app is delayed and the browser is working fine.
It also makes no difference I chose transcoding on the app or direct-stream. (In the browser it should be transcoding always)

Any help / idea what to do?

Regards,
Maeffjus

PS: I've cleaned-up the attached file a bit to remove my domain, which is replaced by "whatever.com" and I removed the user, which is now "whatever_user".

Hi, looks like you're using https over the local network? can you try using just plain http and see how that compares? Thanks.

Hey Luke, nope - it was slow before.
I've now also configured HTTPS, but before was not and also had the same issue.
And this is not happening on the windows-emby-server that I have with HTTPS.

Sure, just did...
From my local network it took about 60s or a little more now. (With 8096 and http)

I've also tested it without my network, does not change in any way.
It is a freshly installed setup on dietpi with no other clutter in the OS.

Hey Luke,
actually I tried - but as far as I remember, without any success.
Right after this happened, I have abandoned the ROck64Pro board and bought a QNAP TS-453Be.
And this thing works like a charm.

It does transcode 2160p into 1080p with 70-75fps and without any delay.
So - if no others have these issues, this topic can be closed.

Regards,
Maeffjus
