Deleted TV staying until clicking into the Folder

Probably not the best title nor do I know if this is an Embuary issue or just an issue. I've been having this issue for a while now and I'm just getting around to posting it. We watch a lot of TV and when we're done with the episode we'll delete it. The deletion seems to work fine. The problem arises when I delete the last episode of a show. The episode will delete but the show image stays in the list of shows even though there are no episodes in there. Once I click in and back out of the show it disappears. It's like something is just getting stuck and when you click on it then it realizes it should be gone and disappears.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Like I mentioned, I am using Embuary, so maybe it's a skin issue? Maybe?

Kodi caching of the window history I guess or it's caused by the node filtering rules. Hard to explain. There is a setting for hiding empty TV show folders in Kodi. I believe it was in "media". Check if this is enabled and if it changes something. If not you probably have to live with this behaviour.

Thanks for the reply. It's definitely set to hide empty TV shows. It's been working great for a long time now and it's just recently having this issue. It's strange that as soon as I click into it then it disappears. Something has definitely changed recently and it's not on my nVidia Shields as I don't touch them, they usually just work.

A skin has no control about updating library window paths. This is core handled. The E4K addon triggers a "library update" command ~30s after you sent the delete request (the server takes this amount of time to send the information to the addon). Maybe it was just perfectly timed.

Anyway I remember @@Angelblue05 changed the deletion behaviour ~2 months ago and the addon won't will wait for the server notification to remove it from Kodi. That could explain it why you notice it now.

Oh.. That's interesting. Thanks for the info.

@@Angelblue05 Is there anything I can do on my end to fix the issue that I'm seeing?

I will let you know, as soon as I find some time to test this... thanks for your patience on this.

No rush. I think I'm going to try out using Embycon and not worry about the database updating.
