Hi!

I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Which screens are you seeing English and which are you seeing German? Views like Folder Views and Live TV aren’t able to make use of the new translations yet.

2. Can you go to the Emby App Settings screen and tell me the language/locale listed at the bottom next to the version?

Thank you!

Hi,

I have the same problem with the Belgian French version (Version 1.4.3.04 fr-BE).

Everything is in Enlish same as sylvio2000.

Thanks

Grégory

I believe I've figured out the problem and I'll have it fixed in the next beta release.

No, it is not fixed in current beta.

In current beta, the Apple TV app doesn't respect the User Display Language Settings, set in user settings like from webapp:

I now get a mixed mode of languages in several menu's, in the Apple TV app, like for example, Dutch and English text under the buttons for the log-in workflow in top right corner for Switch User/Server.

The stable app version gives me English top menu everywhere, but the current beta gives me Dutch top menu.

Please fix, so it follows the User Display Language Settings, in the same way as it follows the library order, from User Profile Settings.

This is a per device setting, so it needs to be configured in each app. The default is to respect the device language.

It might not be fully translated yet. How does the web app compare?

For me the web app is in French same for the app in iOS and smart tv LG, just the app on Apple TV in English  :(

There is no such option in the Apple TV app, so please add it

When available I always use English language settings in apps, because sometimes, the local translations can be ridiculous :o

Because mostly, volunteers provide those translations who sometimes gives the translations their own weird interpretation, instead of the correct translation.

My Apple TV is in French but the app is in English ...

And I don't know why

Why are you devs echoing

Anyway, the Emby Apple TV app used to be completely English independent of my Apple TV language settings for years already, but now it's a complete mess, with screens where different languages are shown at once....

I am now using Emby 1.4.4.07 de-DE. I can see that there is a lot more translated than before :)

Nevertheless I have found some things which are not translated, but in onesky everything is fine:
