Personally, the quality is a global setting, i don’t download one album at one quality and another a different quality. Currently, when you press download it takes you to another screen is in my opinion unnessesary, hitting download should just start the download. This is the behaviour i’ve seen in most apps like google music, apple music, spotify etc. This would stream line things, i’ve just been through the pain of this.... fizzyade 124 Posted December 9, 2019 Author Share Posted December 9, 2019 i’ve actually ended up installing a subsonic server and clients on ios for my wife and daughter. they found the emby interface a bit too much like hard work for music, odd as they’re ninjas with it on the TV! The subsonic ios client i’m using isn’t perfect (play:sub) but it will do for now, i’ve actually started writing my own and i’m doing it with abstractions that will hopefully allow me to integrate emby back in, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just don’t want that screen appearing, hitting download (in my opinion) should just download the album using global settings for quality.
