Subtitles are played incorrectly, when video is continued

Hello,

I'm experiencing an offset of about -5 seconds for my subtitles, if I play them in the Web App. This only occurs if I continue watching a video - it works correctly if I watch the video from start to finish.

The subtitle timings are correct and the subtitles are correctly displayed when played back raw or in the Emby Android app (couldn't test other Emby apps).

This issue first occurred after I switched to Emby Server 4.3.0.30. A temporary workaround is disabling and re-enabling the subtitles.

I'm accessing the Web App using Firefox 70 on Linux and my Emby Server instance is running on a Synology NAS.

My PC is pretty powerful, while my Synology NAS isn't. But I hadn't had issues with earlier versions of Emby Server.

Is this something you are aware of and if so, what are possible steps I could take to resolve this issue (if there are any)?

Thanks in advance!

I omitted screenshots, since they wouldn't be of value and added the server log file. Is there anything else of relevance to you?

Are you still running into this with Emby Server 4.3.1?

I'm still running into this with Version 4.3.1 on my Synology NAS. It has gotten worse actually.

I mentioned a workaround in my original post, which is no longer working with the version 4.3.1.

Now what I have to do is remember where I was in the Episode, then restart the episode from the beginning and seek to the location I was on - very frustrating!

P.S.: I lost access to my original account, because I forgot my password and used a temporary email at signup, so this is my new account... ^^

The subtitles are embeded in a MKV container and are complemented by an also embeded .tff file for a custom font.
