TGirlz2 0 Posted November 25, 2019 Share Posted November 25, 2019 Hi. I have Emby installed on my LG TV. I am connected to a friends server, which works great. My problem is whenever I go to browse through the movie section, Emby stops and I get a message on my screen saying 'Emby will stop and restart to reserve memory' or something like that. Gibber 2 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 Hi, I have seen the same or similar message. In my case it said "This app will now restart to free up more memory". I have also seen this message when using NetFlix and YouTube apps on the TV so I do not believe it is specific to Emby. If you do a search for the phrase there are lots of people complaining about it on LG TV forums, caused by all sorts of apps.
