Trakt - Having random watch progress

It's only pulling that down because that was the data on trakt. But obviously the resume settings need to be incorporated so that you're not resuming something 8 seconds in.

@Luke

Yes I figured as much, but since the Trakt plugin was obviously  updated recently to pull and integrate this data (even though it was never used before this latest update), then I think the following suggestion would be a prudent default:

When marking an episode as watched and it scrobbles in Trakt, have the scrobble also update the playtime.

Otherwise, people in my situation, I'm not sure how to ever remove them from the list?

But, as they are mostly checked as watched within the Emby family, is there a way to filter out all "Watched" episodes from the Resume pile automatically?

If I checked it "Watched", I'm done with it.

This may clear a good chunk of the log.

I marked them unwatched in emby and trakt and resynced.

Still has progress shows.

After clearing all plays and marking watched ones with release date.

Still marked unwatched in emby and letting trakt sync them back in.

Started yesterday after trakt plugin updated.

Trakt was updated

Version 3.3.7

Could you add option like kodi and plex to not use progress?

With this tool you can remove movie and episode pauses:

https://github.com/damienhaynes/TraktRater/releases

Use at your own risk. First run export to see what you are removing.

After doing this, if you toggle an item to Watched in Emby, resume time won't be imported anymore.

Thanks for the tool... but how can I delete my 500 resume (paused) states in emby?

Even if I delete all those states in trakt, it's impossible for me to clear all those entries emby. I have cleared like 100 entries and there are still popping up new ones. Then there is the issue that when I toggle the status on a movie I have actually not watched, the addon seems to send that data immediatly to trakt and untoggle it doesn't seems to set it back to unwatched in trakt. I already found couple of movies I never watched with the watched check because of that. It's a huge mess.

If you remove paused states in trakt, they are not imported anymore.

1. Remove paused states in trakt

2. Multiselect and Toggle to Watched

Multi select and "Mark as watched"

There are unwatched movies with resume (paused) states.

Edit: do it manuell (mark as watched and then unwatched OR mark as unwachted and the watched)

Hope this was it ...

There are unwatched movies with resume (paused) states.

Then mark them as unwatched. Set the watched status you want or leave them as they are and resume time will not be imported anymore (if you previosly remove paused states from trakt with that tool)

Version 3.3.8 of the trakt plugin will incorporate library resume settings when importing data from Trakt. Thanks.

Testing, for now it seems that resume settings in library are taken into account when importing resume times from trakt.

No, these settings come from library settings.

- If resume time is less than 5% of total running time, resume time will not be imported

- If resume time is greater than 90%, resume time will not be imported

- If resume time is less than 180 seconds, resume time will not be imported

ok, but......

for example I have an episode marked as played and at half reproduction (trakt says)..

if I mark the episode as unplayed and then played emby comunicate it to trakt but DOESN'T remove the half play status..

so I have to use the TraktRater app as you suggest earlier..

but after that in the next days/months the problem can appear again...

it's not a good option to always use TraktRater to clean the paused states..

I think that the emby plugin when marking as watched have to reset the relative paused state for this element..

When you finish watching an item in other platform, watch status is imported as watched, but item is still in "Continue Watching" row, resume time should be reset:

Yes, that's true. When Emby imports watched status as watched, resume time (in Emby) should be reset.
