Remove custom sort title

Hi,

I'm facing a problem with some custom sort titles i put in nfo files when I migrated from Plex to Emby years ago.

Here I want to remove all custom sort titles I have on my movies. So i edited all nfo files, removed the <sorttitle> section and ask emby to rescan my library. 
Things seem ok when I go into the metadata manager. All custom sort titles are empty there, as wanted. But when I go on movie metadata in the library, the custom sort title is always here.
How could I remove all those custom sort title without having to manually edit each movie ?

You removed the entire tag?

 

If so, I would try an empty tag instead.

I tried removing it, putting <sorttitle></sorttitle> and final <sortttile /> without success.
I could open the library.db with an sql editor but if I can avoid this i prefer

Try using the metadata editor to blank it out.

If i do this movie per movie it works, but it's a pain !

I managed to do it with editing the library.db with an sql editor.

I stopped the Emby server, removed all <sorttitle> tags from nfo, update the mediaitems table (i put null in ForcedSortName column) and restart Emby server.
After a library scan all is fine
