Greetings good people of the emby community!

I gotten into an issue with emby lately where it kinda "crashes" without really crashing -> The thing it does is that while streaming from emby on any device it suddenly "cut" the connection to some of the streams going at that moment. After it has cut the connection those users who got the problem will not be able to access the server at all for the next 10-15 min, while this happens i can sometime see 1 user still being able to stream - at least the dashboard shows it.

It fixes itself within 20 min often, or i can log into the server with teamviwer and reboot the system for a quick fix.
When it cuts the connection i or any of users trying to connect can not do so, and it will say that the server is offline even tho the internet is still working and it seems normally in the dashboard.

Has anyone tried something similar like this ?

Bit new to this emby troubleshooting so if you need any logs from me i would gladly do so with alittle help on how to do it :D

I advance i would like to thank you for the help

By chance is the transcoding-temp running out of disc space?

Maybe... Checked right after it happened, it said it had 30 gb left...
Does the program auto delete the temp folder if that happens? Cause it was not critical when I checked.
Could try to change it to a hdd instead of ssd

I was just guessing and do not know exactly what logging is in place to show out of drive space when transcoding.  When remuxing and transcoding you are requires to have the size about the size of the media as Emby maintains an entire transcode session of the media, not segmented (at this time).

Yes the transcode will be cleaned up upon a proper stop of the media.

In case it helps somebody: I faced the same issues and Happy2Plays suggestion did the trick for me. The transcoding-temp directory filled up my hard drive. Once I deleted its content, I was able to login again.
