d00zah 127
Anyone else? I assume the remembered login is cookie based? I login successfully per usual, & everything works as expected: The new 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' is disabled for 'localhost'. No cookies appear to be saved: And data cleared on browser close is the same as it's always been: But now when I close/restart the browser, I always get the login screen. The same thing happens if I start the browser with ALL add-ons disabled so it's not an extension. Nothing has changed except the browser update, so I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this? Chrome is OK... for Chrome, that is.
Luke 36884
Working just fine in my testing. I would make sure your browsing data is not getting cleared.

d00zah 127
That's the problem. How so? It's never affected the saved login until the update. Which data (see settings capture)? Cookies, Saved logins & Site preferences have NEVER been cleared. Edited October 24, 2019 by d00zah
Luke 36884
Try unchecking the box about offline website data.
Solution d00zah 127 Posted October 24, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted October 24, 2019 Try unchecking the box about offline website data. That seems to have done the trick. Wonder what FF now considers 'offline website data', but didn't in previous versions? (& rhetorically, what future 'changed' behavior will I run into??? ) Thanks for the wisdom!
d00zah 127
By way of follow-up, after updating to FireFox 71.0 (64-bit), 'traditional' behavior w/ original settings is restored.
