Premiere key not recognized

 I recently created a new Win10 Emby Server, with the intention of shutting down the server on an old machine and starting fresh. I am a Premiere Lifetime subscriber, but I can't get the Premiere key recognized in the dashboard.

 

I enter the key on the Premiere tab:

But then when I return to the main dashboard, it's like nothing happened--I still have the "Get Emby Premiere" button, no "premiere medallion" next to the server name, etc.:

And I can't access Live TV through the web:

I *can*, however, get Live TV, set recordings, etc., through the iOS app:

Any idea what's going on here? I've used Emby for years with no issues until now.

A server log may help also as your image does not show the Status section are of Premiere page.  But it could be a network issue talking to the Emby admin servers.

I reported a similar thing an hour ago in the beta stream.  Im my case, it is only happening for remote users behind my reverse proxy - not on my local LAN.  Note sure if related or a coincidence.

Hi all, Which of these things from @@ebr was the fix for you ?

 

I have :

1 - tried a diff browser (even though I have no blocking things in chrome)

2 - Checked embyserver log for mb3admin.com - never mentioned

3 - Checked my firewall logs - however I am seeing lots of random stuff being blocked as it should - nothing emby related that I can see.

 

Note - This does NOT happen on my local LAN, just on the internet side behind the reverse proxy.

I am using the beta - and this was not happening before - however I can say when before as in which beta may have introduced it - assuming it was the beta.

 

One thing - I am blocking all ipv6 in and out - anything to do with it ?

No badger on my machines.

 

Your issue may be related to the reverse proxy or the remote app access.  Let's use your other thread to follow up.

Hello,

I just bought the emby lifetime premier. It worked on my first nas, but my second nas has the same problem as describe in this forum. I do not understand why. They are both synology and the first one is an older model. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for your prompt answer. I receive the "Emby premier key is missing or invalid" witch is odd because it is working on my older synology nas that is on the same network. I tried to erase-save and than reenter-save, but it persists in telling me that the "Emby premier key is missing or invalid". AFI I have join the log in my previous comment. Any suggestions?

For me, it was Privacy Badger; I disabled it on app.emby.media.

yes I have tried all of the fix that is posted on the link. I still cannot explain it. I think I will try a reinstall.

I did not change anything, but after reinstall my key is working. It is really strange...I can not explain it. Anyways thank you for your help!
