Mick_K 6
Hi @@Happy2Play @@cayars, can someone please explain in layman's terms why the Server Configuration Backup plugin has difficulty setting a network path on my DS-918+ for the Backup Path. When I click on Network in the Folder, it fails to display anything so I have manually entered the server as in the example (\\sever or \\192.168.1.101). It seems to display the appropriate folder but still fails to run. I have tried the following paths: \\NAS-MCE4\Backups (works in Windows File Explorer) \\192.168.0.22\Backups (works in Windows File Explorer) //NAS-MCE4/Backups //192.168.0.22/Backups smb:\\NAS-MCE4\Backups smb:\\192.168.0.22\Backups \\NAS-MCE4/Backups \\192.168.0.22/Backups smb://NAS-MCE4/Backups smb://192.168.0.22/Backups Nothing works. These are extracts from the log showing no matter what backup location I try, they all come up as does not exist: 2019-10-18 10:56:22.522 Info TaskManager: Executing Configuration Backup2019-10-18 10:56:22.522 Info HttpServer: HTTP Response 204 to 192.168.0.165. Happy2Play 8144
No one? Would this be a Synology or a plugin problem you think? Personally I would say yes as there are different limitations per OS on these paths.

Mick_K 6
Worked. Long way around to simply access a shared network folder but no more errors in the Emby log. Thank you Happy2Play
