I have a split folder structure that looks like:

Multimedia

 -> Movies (1080p)

     -> Spider-Man: Homecoming

     -> Avengers: Endgame

     -> etc

 -> Movies (UHD)

     -> Spider-Man: Homecoming

     -> Avengers: Endgame

     -> etc

 -> TV

     -> etc

 -> Music

     -> etc

and I absolutely need the separation between 1080p and UHD movies at the physical data level. But to stop duplication on Emby Theater, and to not keep the headache of separating 1080p and UHD into different libraries (just imagine having to remember which movies you do have in UHD, and playing it from the UHD library of movies when watching that specific movie), I group the versions together on Emby web app so that the clients can optimally choose which version to play.

When the versions are grouped, I don't see any movie extras as shown below (I chose the web app because I know for a fact that Extras do show up in web app):

But when I split the versions apart, I do see the movie extras (as expected) with the version of the movie I do have a movie extra for, as shown below:

How can I make the extras to show up when two versions are grouped together?

P.S.: Don't worry about the weird color scheme in the screenshots, Windows Snipping Tools still can't screenshot in HDR mode properly.

From a manually grouped (different folder) multiversion setup you only get one versions extras.  Which ever version is considered primary to Emby.

I has a 1080p folder and a 4k folder each having a version, both with their one extras.  Manually grouped these version in the multiselect UI.  Emby chose the 1080p version for display along with its extras.  There is no way to change any displayed information when you select the other version.

From a multiversion setup all in one folder you only have one extras folder so they all will appear.

So you're saying, if I put the extra in 1080p folder of the movie, Emby will show me those extras?

I will try that and report back.

Okay, so it works. I can see the extras now.

In any case, the reason for grouping the movies together is so that the clients can choose which version would be optimal. By that logic, shouldn't the extras be also displayed from that version that the client chooses? Because I couldn't see the extras even when I opened Endgame from Emby Theater and the stream version defaulted to UHD (the version I initially had the extra for). Would that be too much work to implement? Otherwise, this fix is good too.

Ok, looking into it, thanks.
