ivangs 3 Posted October 10, 2019 Share Posted October 10, 2019 Hello, After 2 or 3 minutes Emby server shuts down on NVIDIA Shield TV 2017. Emby client on Shield sometimes remains on black screen when i try to start some movies. I have enabled debugging and attaching (zipped) the server logs. mrfragger 39 Posted October 11, 2019 Share Posted October 11, 2019 I’d suggest not wasting time trying to play old mpeg-4 and especially avi containers on nvidia shield. I’ve had nothing but trouble but after converting them to x265 hevc then all direct play so as to avoid any transcoding. Especially that new beta can convert within Emby server so it makes it super simple. I’m still waiting for a macOS build to test it out myself. Can’t wait.
