Hello,

After 2 or 3 minutes Emby server shuts down on NVIDIA Shield TV 2017.

Emby client on Shield sometimes remains on black screen when i try to start some movies.

I have enabled debugging and attaching (zipped) the server logs.

Is that the installer, or the server application after it has been installed?

I have put the "Enable hardware acceleration when available:" to NO

and now i am able to play MPEG4 movies

Can you please turn it back on, then try again and attach the ffmpeg log? thanks.

I’d suggest not wasting time trying to play old mpeg-4 and especially avi containers on nvidia shield. I’ve had nothing but trouble but after converting them to x265 hevc then all direct play so as to avoid any transcoding. Especially that new beta can convert within Emby server so it makes it super simple. I’m still waiting for a macOS build to test it out myself. Can’t wait.
