Live TV - TV Guide

I'm trying to get used to using Emby on my Apple TV's instead of using it through Kodi. But one major blocker is the in my opinion poor Live TV implementation in Emby for Apple TV. My TV server backend is MediePortal, so I have the MediaPortal Emby server plugin installed. I also have TVMosaic plugin installed for some channels I access remotely.

 

1) The TV Guide is hopeless as it is, could we please have a proper TV Guide with a proper timeline like most electronic TV guides are implemented?

 

2) The guide is sloow, takes way too long to populate it with program data. Just too annoying to actually use.

 

 

3) The guide does not show all my channels. I have about 100 channels from MediaPortal and a few hundred from TVMosaic. Emby on Apple TV just shows me the first 30 channels from MediaPortal and none from TVMosaic. All my channels snows up just fine in the TV Guide in Emby Theatre and the Emby web client.

 

Could we please have a TV Guide like the implementation in Emby Theatre? That would actually make Live TV usable on Apple TV as well.

While Live TV is a paid feature on the Emby Apple TV client, don't expect same basic Emby functionality on it, like for example, is present on the Android TV platform.
