Gui76 6
Hi, running Emby server on Debian 10.1. For live TV I use Tvheadend. It works fine on my Android phone. I can view live TV, and the recordings done by Tvheadend. The web client has problems, though. I connect from a Macbook Pro. I tried with both Chrome and Safari, with same result. I go to the TV guide, choose a channel, and click play. The screen becomes gray, with a wheel. When the image should start to be displayed, after a few seconds, the screen turns black. The timer at the bottom left kind of keep counting, but no picture. I tried tvheadend both with the plugin, and directly as a m3u tuner. I also tried switching to nextpvr 5. Always the same result: on Android it works, but with the web client it does not. Any idea? Luke 37046
Hi there, what happens if you lower the in-app quality setting to force a full transcode?
Gui76 6
Thanks for the quick feedback! seems to help, if I don't go too high. It's a workaround, though: I have a reduced stream quality, and my CPU is burning :-) Note that I only have the problem watching live TV. Movies play just fine, at full resolution, in the web client. They're much faster to start playing too. Anything I can do to have live TV working at native resolution as well? Thanks
Luke 37046
Can we look at log examples of using it directly in Emby as an m3u tuner? it will be easier to help you that way. Thanks.

Luke 37046
@@Gui76, as a test, can you try the online web app and see how that compares? http://app.emby.media Thanks !
