MrMagoo 1 Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 hi, I would like to add the Synology DX517 expansion unit to my Synology DS918+ NASQuestion; the contents of the discs are added inside the dx517 are they recognized by emby?I wouldn't want to buy an object and then not be able to use it for the purpose I had set myself.Thanks. Mine doesn't support the expansion, but I've seen others in here who have one and I can't see any reason why it wouldn't. If DSM sees it and can create a volume/shared folder then Emby server can add that shared folder as a library. BTW, emby or any software do not effected by how many "expansion" units they are, it look to your server only that handle these expansion units.
