im85288 1493 Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 For all the OpenElec users out there using version 4.0 and onwards there is now a very good google chrome browser that can be installed. Using this you can configure your server or do whatever you like as it's a full blown browser. This for me was one of the missing pieces of OpenElec so I thought I would share how to install it. The chrome addon is found in the "unofficial openelec mediacenter os addons" bundled with OpenElec so it is only a matter of navigating there and installing! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After all that is the point of the server But thanks for the info, I learnt about Chromium browser! I wonder if it can stream videos from media sites.
