Any limitations on Apple TV app vs. Shield?

I have been thinking about trying an Apple TV 4k. I don't have height speakers so not worried about Atmos. I use emby's dvr service and live TV so that needs to work well.

 

Is there anything that the Apple TV app would be lacking compared to the Android TV version?

I use both, this is what I miss in Apple TV (critical issues):

 

- Support 4K HDR

- Match Frame Rate

- Match Dynamic Range

 

Emby for Apple TV is far away from Emby for Android TV

Ah yes this is what I needed to hear. I actually would probably use mrmc for UHD, so that may be a non issue for me. Thanks you guys.
