I haven't had a chance to test it, yet. I'll try and test it, tonight.

mpv is definitely having some difficulty with it. I'll do more testing with it in little while.

It's an odd one. AVC that's interlaced. Not very common...

Looks like there may be an issue with the demuxer.

[   9.874][d][cplayer] Run command: seek, flags=73, args=[5.000000, relative, unused]
[   9.874][v][mkv] queuing seek to 18.509000
[   9.898][v][mkv] execute seek (to 18.509000 flags 4)
[   9.899][v][mkv] seek done
[  10.626][d][cplayer] Run command: seek, flags=73, args=[5.000000, relative, unused]
[  10.626][v][mkv] queuing seek to 23.509000
[  10.654][v][mkv] execute seek (to 23.509000 flags 4)
[  10.655][v][mkv] seek done
[ 11.520][w][mkv] Too many packets in the demuxer packet queues:

Got it! You have to force the disc demuxer.

--demuxer=+disc

Here are the available demuxers;

Available demuxers:
 demuxer:   info:
      disc  CD/DVD/BD wrapper
       edl  Edit decision list
       cue  CUE sheet
  rawaudio  Uncompressed audio
  rawvideo  Uncompressed video
       mkv  Matroska
libarchive  libarchive wrapper
       rar  Rar archive file
      lavf  libavformat
        mf  image files (mf)
  playlist  Playlist file
      null  null demuxer

I think because it's a remuxed disc rip, that's what it needs.

Yup! Just threw that in my mpv.conf for Theater, and it played just fine.

That's interesting. I wonder how we could detect that we need to do that.

You may not need to. I'm testing using that demuxer for everything. So far so good..... but my storage server just went down. So I'm working on that, now....

It works ok when skipping, but not good with scrubbing....

With scrubbing, there seems to be some kind of minimum buffer/cache, required. In mpv, I'm watching the progress bar, and I can't scrub properly until it reaches around 30 seconds, but then loses the beginning. I've tried various cache options, but nothing changes it. I'm out of time for tonight. If you don't find the solution, I'll try again when I have more time...

OK, this appears to work

demuxer=+disc
demuxer-disc-analyzeduration=3

I spoke too soon :/

This is better

demuxer=+disc
demuxer-readahead-secs=35
demuxer-seekable-cache=yes

35 seconds appears to be the limit, and what is needed.
