I've encountered yet another problem with the latest server release--now my Flac music files will not play on Roku Media Browser++.  The files will play for about 10 seconds then jump to the next album track and do the same thing through the entire album.  These are tracks that played perfectly in the past.  Any suggestions?

I've spent an hour trying to attatch a copy of my server log and no matter what I do, mo matter how much I cut out of it I always get an error message that the file is too large.  Do you guys only wants 10 lines of server data or something?

http://paste2.org perhaps? They want as complete of logs as you are willing to provide. Provide enough your problem might be discoverable. Too little it will not. Make sure to clear all server logs already present and fully restart your server. Recreate logs related directly to your issue using the client giving you issues. All other clients try to keep off the server when generating these logs.

I am currently listening to an album with Flac files which is playing fine.  But when I went back to the earlier albums Media Browser wouldn't play it still won't play them--it skips through the tracks playing about 10 seconds of each one.

I copied my log into Paste2.org but what am I supposed to do with it now?  Do I include the web address of the log in a topic window?

I guess I spoke too soon.  It's started skipping through tracks on this album as well after playing most of it fine.  :(

This also happens on the official roku client. So the flavor doesn't seem to matter.

Sorry that I didn't get to this sooner. I converted some audio CDs to FLAC and finally was able to test them using last night's dev build. They play on my Roku currently. I'll check the logs in a bit when I get back to my PC.

Not sure if the Roku model would matter in this case.

I didn't have any problems with playback. I'll test some more later.

You need to manually move the indicator around a bit and start/stop a few songs with pause/play/OK and move the cursor around. If you let it play through natively not controlling a thing starting the first song in the list it may not goof at all. You are in the perfect storm. So you need to throw some chaos into the mix to see this.

If you start a song, and then don't stop it. Go to the next song with the cursor, click OK to start it. Now that one will go 10 seconds, skip to the next song, and etc/rinse-repeat.. as if the 10s slices of the mp3 file its supposed to stream is the end. Me, you, and everybody else knows it's not the end, and there are more 10s chunks to stream for that song. It's just the roku goes "meh, moving on!". If it helps, I am on the BETA version of the server.

There is no indicator to move through songs on the Roku interface--as far as I can tell you can skip from track to track but not fast forward within a track unless I'm missing something.  I tried skipping, pausing, going back from track to track--it did nothing whatsoever--the songs still play for 10 seconds and move on.

Could the issue be that speechles included contains an embedded mjpeg video stream whereas Waynes file only contains an audio track?  I wonder if adding the -vn parameter to ffmpeg (disables the video portion of the file) would correct the issue.
