syarbrou1 0
I am considering using PlayOn to download TV episodes on a scheduled basis. It supports adding AdSkip in the video. On my XBox 360 will I be able to skip the commercials thru Emby with the remote? Thanks. Steve
Luke 36879
Hi, the only way this would be possible is if the files have chapter markers that align with the commercials. Then you could skip chapters.
syarbrou1 0
It does, however not sure how to trigger it on my Logitech remote. I have two sets of "jumps" of sorts. When using the standard media center interface I can fast forward diffferent speeds, and the other that allows me to jump 30 seconds forward or type in a number and press it and it jumps that many seconds or minutes forward. The fast forward buttons do not work in Emby for anything, and the jump seems to do what it always did not jump between chapter markers. Is there another set of buttons I need to program into the remote or something for this? Thanks.

ebr 14853
Emby for WMC just uses the standard WMC player so all of those skipping options should be available to you. Unless you are using an external player or, perhaps, there is a network access issue and everything is transcoding (we'd need to see a log from playback to know).
