patrick1905 0
Hello together, Thanks for the update for emby and the improved download management. Currently it looks like there is a bug. If a download session starts in background on WiFi it continues on Mobile and does not stop as the Android Download Manager did. This cost me 1,2GB on mobile data today and I had to force stop the app to end the download. Does anyone else noticed this and can it be fixed? This is quite a huge issue for such media. thanks, Patrick
JasonG 16
Just a thought - you may just want to limit the Emby application to only use wifi, if you have a limited data plan? https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/prevent-any-app-using-mobile-data-android/
neik 805
Also reported this on the beta topic but afaik it hasn't been addressed yet.

Bazzu85 21
We're looking into it. Thanks guys. as an additional info.. having the app closed and not in wifi, adding something to sync jobs on the server remotely, opening the app (always without wifi).. the download starts.. the app is setted to download only in wifi.. Solution neik 805 Posted October 14, 2019 Solution Share Posted October 14, 2019 I don't know what exactly fixed it but after testing it yesterday it seems to be fixed. Latest beta on server (4.3.0.14) and Android (3.0.82)
