Yes I have checked my headphones, and, emby is the only app I have this issue with. It sounds like I'm playing retro vinyl soundtrack, and, this has happened since the last few updates. Checked on my backup phone with an older version of Android, but no "usb-c", and, using a 3.5mm headphone jack, and, no issues occurred. The problem is solved, it seems - at least for me - when using a phone with no headphone jack, via usb-c interface, crackling is occurring during playback of any/all videoo files.
