I know that this has downsides as it can be extremely slow on some browsers like internet explorer, but you could give people the option in settings for "software HVEC decoding" or similar. I can always re-evaluate it, but the problem is that taking a proof of concept demo like that and integrating it with all of our supported features is quite a large undertaking..
