nayr 36
Symptom: Dual Audio, especially on LiveTV.. can hear two channels playing at same time.. only one video of course. It seems like there's two instances of Emby client running, I've seen this issue happen a few times on my Kids FireTV 4k's, and today my mom called me to tell me both of her TV's were doing it.. not able to replicate it on demand, the fix is to reboot the FireStick then everything is fine.. not experienced this on any other AndroidTV device (ShieldTV). From the admin console when starting the video, one channel flashed up for a brief moment and then another channel. only showed one client connected from that device. Luke 36877
Hi, that's strange, never heard of this. Can you try rebooting the fire tv device and see if this is still an issue? Thanks.
nayr 36
Yeah rebooting the FireTV fixes it no problemo.. no idea what triggers it but it was odd that both FireTV's I bought and setup for my parents encountered it the same morning.. next time Ive got the issue here I'll do a bit of log capturing and debugging. ebr 14850
That is odd. In the future, try force-stopping the app as that should be a bit easier than rebooting the entire device.
