stnliness 0 Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Moin, Ich würde gerne für eine kleine Gemeinschaft einen Server aufbauen und bin mir halt unsicher was ich genau an Hardware benötigen würde. Ich würde hierzu gerne mal eure einschätzung und Erfahrung erfragen was ich so benötige um einen Störungsfreien Betrieb mit ca. 15 usern laufen zu lassen. Reicht da z.B ein Qnap NAS TS-673-4G ? Wo liegt der Flaschenhals wenn so viele auf einmal Schauen? Netzwerk, HDD Zugriffe, Transcoding, CPU Power ? Usually the bottleneck is the CPU for transcoding, so the more you can avoid that, the better off you'll be. What formats are your media files?
