@Luke

Since when do we have the "Hamburger Menu" from web app, now in iOS app executed, with a swipe action to the right of screen ?

This makes this feature request not possible in content Detail View, for swiping to next library item. Are you still considering content browsing with swiping, when in Detail View ?

Just some small adjustments to the new menu in the top left, nothing big.

In the new build headed up, collections are now available in search results. Also I did a little work on 3-dot menus, trying to make the options a little bigger and easier to tap, and also added a cancel button to make it easier to get out of them.

Sorry haven’t check and saw already the changes in the OSD of Emby Theatre: no more poster on the overlay?

Well yes the objective was to make everything larger, simpler and easier to tap. But we can do an info button containing the poster and other things.

Don't like the pause button in middle of screen.

Reason >> more difficult to reach on Plus/Max size iPhones which me and my wife posses.

So what are the options for button placement for big phones @Luke ?

Because big phones I always hold (when in landscape mode) with my thumbs at the bottom supporting the phone, so the standard range of the thumb misses the exact middle of screen (where the pause button is now unfortunately)

Understand your point, but the overlay with posters, logos was giving some « fancy looks » to the overlay.

On my side I’m happy with the fact that videos are well playing on all clients and devices, so it doesn’t matter the look in the end ;-)

@Senna are you still having that emoticon problem? Do other screens in the app do that as well?

Already replied here some days ago:

... it ONLY seems to be happening on direct downgrade of TF iOS build 1.8.3 (1) to 1.8.1 (6)
With a fresh clean install of 1.8.1 (6), it doesn't happen :)

I was almost shocked to see at first that I didn't get my cover back in OSD of 1.8.1. (6) with the downgrade, but a fresh install got it back luckily :)

Do other screens in the app do that as well?

Yes, but only in already explained scenario:

@Luke
How are you going to fix OSD ERGONOMICS for large phones ?

See RED lines for thumb ranges below, with OSD on large phones :

Focus engine is sometimes wrong in "Quick Jump" library lists, by scrolling Movie list in background, instead of scrolling Quick Jump library items.

Also the Cancel button hides last library item in that Quick Jump list.

We did a lot of comparison with other apps. Unfortunately the reality is that anytime you change a design there will be some who will want it back the way it was before. I'm happy to add options if there's enough demand for them.

Thanks yea I've noticed this needs adjusting as well.

I understand the design philosophy, that the play/pause button location is more for looks than for ergonomics.

So if nobody chimes in, leave it this way, so we can do some finger stretching to get accustomed.

Regarding showing CURRENT time and END time, any plans for that on OSD ?
