min2 0 Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Hi, new Emby user here. I am having two issues: 1. I was testing both a HDHomerun exend and connect quatro. I was disappointed to learn that the built in transcoding of the extend had no effect on the file size (some cases it was larger) regardless of the internal settings of the extend and settings within emby server. 2. The skip/ff function in the web player on macos is slow/freezes. I tested on firefox and chrome with same results. On windows it works better but I am a mac guy so I would like to figure this out. I bought the extend hoping the smaller file size would improve the performance but did not help. Any ideas??? Min2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
