Luke 36887
Hi, what screen are you referring to?
jimmyboy 0
Hi, what screen are you referring to? Sorry for the late reply. I'm referring to the "Channels" section in "Live TV". If I go to Live Tv, then click on "Channels", I'm able to scroll through all my IPTV channels and click on the "Heart" of any channel, and that saves it in my "Favorites" channel list on my Emby TV program . So if I click and save say 40 Favorite channels, when I use Emby on my TV it only shows 30 of those 40 saved Favorite channels. Is there a way to save and show more than 30 channels? Luke 36887
What Emby app are you using on the TV?
jimmyboy 0
What Emby app are you using on the TV? I'm using Roku on my TV with the Emby Plug in channel. The attachment I've sent you shows Emby on my PC screen, and as you see the NBC channel is selected as one of my 45 favorite channels, as indicated by the red heart. Now when I use Emby on my TV through Roku, the screen is very similar to this. It shows a "Favorite Channels" column, but only shows 30 of the 45 favorites I've selected. Is 30 the default amount of favorite channels I can save, or is 30 the default amount I'll be able to actually see? ebr 14862
Hi. It is just a limit on the app end but it is only on that first screen where it is showing a row of Favorite channels. If you go up to the top of the screen and select the "Channels" button you will get a grid of all of your channels. In there, you can set a filter to just view the favorites and see them all. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks. Edit: Well, that's how it should work, but it looks to be broken for channels so we'll have to look at that. WOW. i was all excited there for a minute, I thought you found me a 'workaround", until I read your edit. Oh well, hopefully you'll find something that helps. Thanks! One more thing, where exactly was that "filter" tab located on the channels page and, we are talking about Emby on Roku TV correct? gmf2020 0
Not really. if you look at the bottom of that quote it states "Edit: Well, that's how it should work, but it looks to be broken for channels so we'll have to look at that." if i go to my channels i have 5700 because my providers has multiple languages and countries. having a limit higher than 30 for favourites would be ideal. Me have to surf through 5700 channels to find what i want to watch is not so appealing. thanks Hi. The "fix" is as described in the post you quoted. Thanks.
