FrostByte 5024
You sure you deleted before inserting the USB? Or did you just remove from Home? Edit: maybe try power cycling the TV after deleting old version Edited August 2, 2019 by FrostByte

FrostByte 5024
Oh good, because I was all out of ideas after that
Betelgeuse 14
I upgraded without uninstalling the old first. Seemed to work. Before Emby Server said I was connected with Emby Theater 1.0.62; after upgrade it says connected with Emby Theater 1.0.63. So, uninstall first doesn't seem necessary? Some users have reported that when the app is already installed, that inserting the usb drive will not do anything. So we added it to the instructions just to be sure.

FrostByte 5024
Great, thanks. Might be an issue with 2018 and 2019s only then
FrostByte 5024
I've modified the USB instructions a little so that people can try to upgrade, but if it won't upgrade to delete the previous version first.
Betelgeuse 14
I don't remember if I mentioned before, but I would appreciate the version number in the file name at github. Also please publish the USB instruction there as well.
Luke 36881
The instructions will ultimately be moved to our website. That's the only place they need to be.
