Hi there, have you setup remote access from emby server? Are you able to access your emby server from outside your home network, such as on a smart phone?

In order to use google home you need to first setup remote access, because google home commands from the outside in.

If you're unable to do that, then you won't be able to use google home.

Will this allow other devices outside your home network to reach your Emby Server? If so then yes.

Google Home does not process requests locally. This is why a remote connection to your server is required. Essentially, the WAN address in your server dashboard is what is given to Google Home when linking up. You have to make sure your server is reachable that way.

I couldn't find your request in logs at the time, if you want to confirm the server address it's seeing, just ping me
